There are many ways in which you can connect with the Central Food Ministry to reach out and help the people of Lowell and surrounding cities. Please help us to spread His Word and to shine His Light into their lives in any one of the following ways.

  • pray for cfm

Pray regularly for the work of the Central Food Ministry as well as for the volunteers, the Director, and the Board of Trustees as they work together to help the people of Lowell and the surrounding communities who are in need. Your prayers for the clients of Central Food Ministry, most of which are children, are also greatly appreciated.

  • volunteer

Help to sort, bag and distribute food on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM or Thursdays, 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Help to sort food and clothing — there are always many boxes of donated items which need to be sorted and organized for distribution.

Help maintain and clean the facility on a regular basis as well as for special occasions.

Help with translations (Cambodian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese).

Help with marketing and maintenance of our social media.

  • Follow us on social media

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter (@cfministryinc) to find the most up-to-date information! Holidays, weather-necessitated closings, daily devotions, and special events will be posted. Help grow the CFM community by liking, commenting, and sharing!

  • Click here to send an email to our Executive Director to be added to the e-newsletter mailing list. The newsletter is sent out once a month and is a great way to stay connected to the CFM Community.

  • PARTNER with cfm

One very simple way to help would be to hold a drive whether it be for canned goods and nonperishables; winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens, and blankets; personal care and hygiene items; gift cards to area supermarkets; or baby diapers and wipes.

Your company, group, school, or church can schedule a time for a representative from CFM to make a presentation to discuss becoming a partner in the mission work in Lowell. Use this as an opportunity to encourage volunteerism and service to those in need.

  • donate

Donate funds for those items that CFM is not able to obtain from other sources.

    • Donate gift certificates to local supermarkets.
    • Donate food, clothing, diapers/baby wipes, or personal hygiene items.
    • Donate towards the purchase of a new van for food pick ups.
    • Allocate a portion of your annual budget to support  the Director's salary.
    • Allocate a portion of your annual budget to support the cost of utilities.
